National Children's Hospital Dublin roof model

The project included the preparation of a BIM model in the LOD 400 level of detail, based on the guidelines specified by the lead designer from Select Roofing. In addition to producing the model based on the guidelines, we performed a material usage optimization when laying out the panels. The cost optimization consisted of maximizing the use of straight panels, which were much less expensive than trapezoidal panels. We provided direct support to the client during the inter-discipline coordination and performed BIM coordination using Navisworks Manage.

In addition to creating the model, we were in direct contact with the designer and were able to make significant changes that positively impacted the later installation of the elements on site.
